How to Master Low Limit Texas Holdem, Part 1 - Introduction

I decided to start a series about how to learn and master Texas Hold'em because this is the most played game in the online poker rooms and it has large popularity. These tutorials are good for new poker players and we think the advanced players can find useful tips here, too.

These articles try to show how to start to play online poker, how to behave at the tables and how to win in almost every situation.

Our tips will be very detailed from the ground up in hoping to teach every kind of player some new viewpoint about playing online poker. The secret of success is to pay attention to every small thing. Every advice can earn some additional dollars in the game. And you can earn a lot here...

You can have many questions in the beginning. One of them can be that why we give away our strategies and tips.

In order to understand the answer you have to know poker and how to play online poker, but we give some thoughts:

But let's lay down the fundamental conception of gambling: When you play against the casino you cannot win in the long run.

Before you want to find a counter precedent let's think it over from the casino's point of view. The casinos are business companies. Although its business model contains random elements but other usual business companies contain this risk too. The rules of the casino games are made to make advantage over the player. These rules are based on a mathematical model which takes into consideration random elements.

But the more time he plays the chances are bigger that his balance will set in the winning chance of roulette that is about 97.3%. So after one year playing he will lose 2.7% of his money.

So: you can win in the short run but you cannot win in the long run. Period.
